Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Renewables Electrician to cover Oxford and surrounding areas, specializing in domestic and commercial solar PV installations.

You will be a van-mobile operative, provided with a company van, fuel card, and specialist tools. The role runs 08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday, and requires an ECS Gold Card with 18th edition and a Solar PV qualification.

Knowledge of MCS, PAS 2030 and G98/G99 is desirable, along with a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, testing and commissioning solar PV systems.
• Ability to diagnose faults in DC/AC circuits, inverters and isolators.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of H&S, RAMS and building regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission domestic/commercial solar PV systems
• Diagnose and repair faults in DC/AC circuits, inverters, and isolators

• Use monitoring systems and apps to track performance
