Job summary

Lloyds Bank plc is seeking an experienced Mobile Software Engineer for iOS to join a cross-functional team in London. You’ll design, build and ship high-quality iOS experiences, working closely with designers, product managers and other engineers to deliver consumer-facing features that delight customers and simplify financial lives.

You will contribute engineering expertise, resolve bugs, improve app performance and iterate rapidly based on customer needs in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience developing mobile applications for iOS that delight users.
• Proven experience shipping apps to the Apple App Store.
• Strong development experience with Swift and SwiftUI.
• Experience building modern iOS apps using SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Experience using Swift Concurrency and writing unit/UI tests.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Passion for creating intuitive, high-quality user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship high-quality iOS experiences for iPhone users.
• Collaborate with designers, PMs and engineers to deliver consumer-focused features.
• Identify improvements to UX and performance; resolve bugs and iterate based on feedback.
• Take ownership and contribute to shaping the fintech product roadmap.

SALARY: £76,760 - £95,950

LOCATION: Hybrid (London)

HOURS: Full Time (35 Hours)

What we’re looking for?

• Experience developing mobile applications that delight users and deliver excellent customer experiences
• Proven experience shipping one or more applications to the Apple App Store
• Strong development experience with Swift
• Experience building modern iOS applications using SwiftUI
