Mobile Smart Repair Technician – Hampshire area

I am working with a dealership in Basingstoke who are seeking a Mobile SMART Repair Technician.

Job Role – Mobile Smart Repair Technician

Job Location – Basingstoke (Mobile role covering Hampshire)

Salary – £40k plus bonus and benefits

Seeking a Mobile Smart Repair Technician from an automotive Body Shop or Smart environment, via an independent or franchised garage, who can prepare damaged panels, mask up vehicles in readiness for painting, carry out minor repairs to body panels and alloy wheels, and also polish vehicles following painting, among other duties.

You will be an integral part of our team as a Smart Repair Technician, working on all types of vehicles in a modern, clean workshop. Your tasks will include Smart repairs to cars and LCV vehicles, repairing and refurbishing vehicle damages such as scratches, scuffs, dents, windscreen chips, upholstery repair, leather reconditioning, recolouring, and wheel refurbishments. You will also be responsible for cleaning and preparing vehicles for repair, cosmetic paint touch-ups, and local paintwork repairs.

You will maintain equipment regularly and report issues to the Bodyshop Manager.

About You:

Previous experience as a Smart Repairer within any bodyshop is required.

Experience in a body shop or similar environment; qualifications are advantageous.

Full driving licence required.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and thrive in a busy bodyshop environment.
