This role involves traveling to various locations in Hampshire, Berkshire, and Surrey to perform high-quality repairs on vehicle bodywork. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and previous experience in smart repairs, along with a good understanding of paint spraying techniques.

Qualifications

  • Previous Smart Repairer experience is essential.
  • Ability to perform various repair tasks on vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to various locations in Hampshire, Berkshire, and Surrey.
  • Repair vehicle bodywork including dents, scratches, and rusted parts.
  • Manage own work diary for scheduled jobs.

Job description

MOBILE Smart Repairer position so must be comfortable with driving around to various locations in Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey.

What Mobile Smart Repairers are Offered:

  • Monday-Friday - 8:00am-5:30pm
  • Basic Salary - GBP35,000 - GBP45,000
  • Fantastic UNCAPPED bonus
  • Full equipped VW Transporter Van Provided (Must be collected form site each day)

The Role of a Smart Repairer:

  • Must be ok with being mobile and traveling to various sites in Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey.
  • Finishing the repair in a way that matches the rest of the bodywork or preparing the surface for a paint sprayer
  • Mending rusted parts of a vehicle s bodywork
  • Removing any dents in panels
  • Repairing minor scratches or making replacement panels
  • Experience in stripping and refitting a variety of makes and models of vehicle
  • Stripping and Fitting Vehicles before and after paint.
  • Stripping and Fitting bumpers and door.
  • Repairing Exterior Plastics
  • Prepare vehicles to be sprayed and mixing paint to ensure a perfect match in order to spray
  • Masking up vehicles
  • Prepping and sanding vehicles
  • Managing your own work diary for all scheduled jobs
  • Quality checking vehicles after work completed
  • Priming vehicles ready for spraying

Qualifications

  • NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Paint Spraying or be time served
  • MUST Hold a full valid UK driving licence
  • Previous Smart Repairer experience is essential
