Job summary

The Children’s Society is seeking a Mobile Shop Manager on a fixed-term basis to oversee operations across 11 shops in the region. Based in Blaydon, you will lead teams, ensure high standards of presentation and customer service, and drive shop performance over a 37-hour week.

Travel between sites is a core part of the role; access to transport is essential. The position offers a competitive salary, generous leave, and pension benefits, with safeguarding checks as part of recruitment.

Fixed Term Contract - Additional Funding

19 August 2026

Fixed Term for 12 months initially with a view to become permanent.

Hours: 37 hours a week over Monday to Saturday usually 5 days a week.

Salary: £25,760 per annum

Location: Base shop Blaydon. To cover 11 shops in the region within a tight cluster.

It is essential that you have access to transport.
