Job Description:

Our client is an internationally renowned supplier and installer of hydraulic hoses.

Concentrating on the industrial sector of HGV vehicles, building and plant machinery, forklifts, and lifting platforms, their local depot supplies, visits client sites (or on the road if broken down), and repairs or replaces hydraulic hoses and ancillary items to restore equipment functionality.

Due to recent successes, they are looking to expand their team of Mechanical Service and Sales Technicians.

Ideal candidates should have an interest in engineering or mechanics, such as personal car servicing or dismantling and reassembling items, or auto technician experience. A desire to increase income through promoting and selling the company's products and services is essential.

Responsibilities include discussing repairs with clients, identifying additional equipment needs, visiting sites to establish supply contacts, and promoting services.

You will be:

• Personable and a good communicator
• Interested in mechanical or technical applications
• Motivated to succeed and increase earnings with a positive mindset
• Capable of learning new skills (training provided)
• Having a good commercial sense to recognize sales opportunities

Requirements include being locally based (within 30 minutes of Gatwick Airport), holding a full, clean driving license, and having the drive and desire to learn new engineering skills. The role offers a minimum £25,000 basic salary plus open-ended commission.
