Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD is seeking a mobile service technician to perform routine servicing, maintenance, and safety checks on customer vehicles across the Mid Sussex area. You’ll diagnose faults on-site and log all work via a company tablet.

This field-based role offers a competitive earnings potential of £44,000+ per annum, with a fully equipped company van, fuel card, and necessary PPE provided. Expect 45 hours per week, Mon-Fri with occasional Saturday working in a 3-week rotation.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 3 in vehicle maintenance with at least 3 years' workshop experience.
• Full UK driving licence (over 25, min 2 years experience, max 3 points) with D1 entitlement.
• Commutable locations include Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Hassocks, Hurstpierpoint, Lewes and Uckfield.

Responsibilities

• Undertake routine servicing, maintenance, and safety inspections on customer cars, LCVs, and minibuses across Mid Sussex.
• Carry out accurate diagnostic testing and mechanical repairs on-site.
• Maintain accurate digital job logs via company tablet.
