We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Service Engineer to join a leading safety equipment business based in Northamptonshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow with an established and growing specialist within their market.

Location: Northamptonshire (Nationwide coverage)

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Salary: £35,000 + Company Van, Equipment & Various Company Benefits

Duties:

• Service and maintenance of portable gas detectors
• Service and maintenance of SCBA and Escape Breathing apparatus.
• Service and maintenance of Fall arrest and Lifting equipment
• Set up and commissioning of new gas detection systems along with their subsequent service and maintenance.
• Building and developing strong, trust-based relationships with clients.
• Identifying and reporting additional safety equipment needs to the Sales team.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction to drive repeat business and service expansion.
• Upholding our innovative and professional service standards with all clients.
• Completion of all paperwork relating to visit including updating CRM database.
• Providing vital data for management reporting e.g. revenue and sales tracker.
• Supporting workshop with any other tasks as required.

The ideal candidate must:

• Minimum of 2 years' proven engineering experience, ideally within the safety equipment industry.
• Background in utilities, engineering, or construction sectors preferred.
• Knowledge or qualifications in fixed gas detection systems desirable but not essential.
• Demonstrated experience in fault-finding and effective decision-making.

• Holiday - 25 Days per annum, plus bank holidays (3 or 4 days to be saved for a shutdown at Christmas).
