Equans is seeking a Mobile Service BMS Engineer to join our Digital business, covering parts of Newcastle and the surrounding areas on a full time basis. We are building a Smart Enabled future across schools, hospitals, offices and government buildings.

You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to reactive calls, and work with colleagues to improve system performance and energy efficiency, with the potential to move into broader roles within Operational Management, Project Management

Qualifications

• City & Guild / BTEC / NVQ in Electrical or BEMS.
• Knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems in a commercial environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• BPSS vetting.

Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance: carrying out scheduled maintenance checks on BMS systems across sites.
• Reactive Calls: responding to breakdowns; participate in on-call rota with benefits.
• Continuous Improvement: compile reports and cost estimates for system enhancements.

Your day-to-day will involve:Preventative Maintenance: Carrying out scheduled maintenance checks on BMS systems and components to ensure smooth operation across various sites.Reactive Calls: Responding to breakdowns when things go wrong. This role involves participating in a reactive call-out rota, which includes additional financial benefits for on-call availability and attendance.Continuous Improvement:Working with other engineer colleagues to help make recommendations to our clients to enhance system performance and energy efficiency.
