Job summary

Equans is seeking a Mobile Security Officer for Langhurst, Horsham (RH12 4WX). The role is full-time (42 hours per week) with an annual gross salary of £29,702.40.

You will patrol the site, respond to incidents, monitor CCTV, and manage access control while delivering strong customer service and maintaining security presence. Essential qualifications include SIA licence, CTC clearance, and UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervisor Licence.
• CTC clearance and right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence and reliable transport to site.
• Experience in a security environment is desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• IT skills and incident reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the site and report any security concerns or incidents.
• Monitor CCTV and security systems, identifying and responding to suspicious activity.
• Manage access control, verifying identification and authorisation as required.
• Respond promptly to alarms, security breaches, and emergency situations in line with site procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports, records, and security logs.
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining security protocols.
• Liaise with emergency services when required.
