Job summary

Oakpark Security Systems LTD is seeking a dedicated Mobile Response Officer based in Fareham (PO15 5TT). This relief contract covers 42 hours per week over 17 weeks, with day or night shifts. You will patrol sites, monitor CCTV, respond to alarms, and coordinate with emergency services to protect sites and reassure clients.

We value vigilance, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A driving licence may be required depending on duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a security role is preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of first aid practices is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is an advantage.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A valid driving licence may be required depending on the location of duties.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas around Fareham to deter and detect suspicious activities.
• Monitor CCTV systems and utilise surveillance techniques to identify potential security threats.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid as necessary.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
• Document all incidents accurately and report findings to management.
• Assist in the implementation of loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism while interacting with clients, staff, and the public.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills related to security practices and first aid.
