Job summary

Relyonservices is seeking dedicated Mobile Security Officers to join their expanding team in Taunton. The role involves conducting routine security tasks over a defined geographical area, ensuring the safety and security of client properties.

Successful applicants will have a valid Frontline SIA Licence, experience in mobile security, and a full UK driving license. The position offers 12-hour shifts, a competitive pay rate of £13.65 per hour, and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Valid Frontline SIA Licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guarding) is mandatory.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence held for at least 2 years.
• Fluent spoken and written English is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine security patrols and inspections.
• Perform lock and unlock duties for client properties.
• Respond to alarm activations and incidents promptly.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections and incidents.

Due to business expansion and contract wins, we are looking to increase our team with multiple vacancies for security staff within the Bristol and surrounding areas.

The Role

We are seeking dedicated Mobile Security Officers to join our expanding team. Your duties will include carrying out routine security tasks across a defined geographical patch.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine security patrols and inspections.
• Perform lock and unlock duties for client properties.
• Inspect vacant properties for security risks.
• Respond to alarm activations and incidents promptly.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, attendances and incidents.
• Ensure the security of premises within your defined portfolio.
• Provide a high standard of customer service and attention to detail.
• Maintain a professional attitude whilst working under pressure.
• Full training will be provided.
• Full uniform and equipment to complete the role is provided.
• We will bear the cost of your SIA licence renewal.
• Vehicle is provided for the role (You must have own vehicle to travel to office).
• Opportunities for additional shift, overtime and development.

Shift Details

Your shift pattern is determined by rota per month.

Shift Times (depending on when the pattern falls): 19:00–07:00 | 12-hour shifts | 4 on 4 off

Requirements

• Valid Frontline SIA Licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guarding)
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence held for 2+ years
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Own transport to travel to/from BS35 4HQ
• Previous experience in mobile security (essential)
• Must be 23+ years old for insurance purposes (preferred)
• A clean or low point driving record (details may be required)
