Job summary

Insurance Mobility Solutions (IMS) seeks a Drive Tester to join our QA team. About 80% of the role is drive testing on mobile platforms, with the remaining 20% supporting the broader QA tasks, app testing, bug reporting, and log analysis. You’ll work with engineers to share results and improve product quality.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Comfort using iOS and Android smartphones.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good time management and ability to work independently.
• Clear, proactive communication and a can-do attitude.
• Willingness to learn new tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive test cases on iOS and Android per test plans.
• Install and manage test builds (e.g. via TestFlight) and prep test devices.
• Follow procedures to ensure accurate, repeatable results.
• Run data pipelines and review dashboards after testing.
• Record results and observations with clear notes.
• Communicate issues promptly when tests fail or plans change.
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Log and verify bugs in JIRA with steps and logs.
• Check crash reports and performance in Firebase and New Relic.
• Capture network traffic with Proxyman to aid debugging.
• Assist with API tests in Bruno and QA documentation.
• Utilize AI tools to help analyze logs and identify root causes.
