Mobile QA Automation Engineer

Hybrid - London Office 2/3 Days A Week

Inside IR35 Contract - Initial contract 3-6 Months

We’re looking for a skilled Mobile QA Automation Engineer with strong mobile testing experience to join a fast-paced, agile delivery team working on high-impact digital products within the retail sector.

This role requires hands-on experience with iOS and Android testing, a strong understanding of automation frameworks, and confidence working in an Azure DevOps environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing and delivering robust, scalable mobile test automation for iOS and Android platforms
• Building and maintaining test frameworks and tools using mobile emulators and simulators
• Creating and executing detailed test plans, test approaches, and test scripts
• Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines in an Azure DevOps environment
• Collaborating with developers, BAs, and product teams to deliver high-quality features at pace
• Running exploratory and regression testing when required

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in mobile automation testing (iOS & Android)
• Experience using emulators/simulators and testing mobile applications across devices
• Comfortable working in Azure DevOps environments, integrating into pipelines
• Experience creating comprehensive test plans and approaches from scratch
• Good knowledge of automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to testing
• Previous experience working within large retail organisations or fast-paced e-commerce environments is highly desirable
