£41,000 to £45,000 + overtime + paid door to door + discretionary company bonus + on-call pay + company van and fuel card
Keep the utility vehicles around Cardiff safe, legal and working, from the van itself to the power take-offs and body-fitted equipment that do the job on site. You'll work from a fully stocked van with the vehicle's history in your hand before you arrive. Plantexpand maintains the plant and vehicles behind the UK's water, power, gas and telecoms networks, working for national utilities, councils, government and operators of critical sites. Around 95% of our work is done on site, and we empower our engineers to fix first time, with an eight bay workshop, a planning team and our partner suppliers behind them.
You can progress from technician to senior technician and supervisor, with cross-training into other disciplines.
Full time, Monday to Friday: 45 hours a week, plus 2.5 hours of paid meal breaks across the week. You are paid door to door, from when you leave home.
Ex-Forces and career changers with the right mechanical skills are welcome. Plantexpand is an Armed Forces Covenant signatory.
