Job summary

Go-Ahead London is seeking a Mobile Glass Fitter to service and repair glazing on buses and other PSVs. You will travel to depots and customer locations in a mobile unit, performing windscreen and window replacements to maintain fleet safety and availability.

The role requires a driving licence, independent work capability, and a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer service. A field-based roster and on-call shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience fitting automotive or commercial vehicle glass.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently with a mobile workload.
• Strong health and safety understanding.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Replace and repair windscreens, windows and glazing components on PSV vehicles.
• Travel to customer sites and depots to perform glazing work.
• Assess damage and determine repair or replacement solutions.
• Prepare apertures and install glass using approved techniques.
• Keep accurate service records and documentation.
• Maintain stock and clean mobile service vehicle.
• Participate in on-call rota when required.
