Job summary

Go-Ahead London is hiring a Mobile Glass Fitter to service buses and PSVs across a regional footprint. You will operate from a fully equipped mobile unit, replacing and repairing glazing components to minimise downtime and keep fleets safe and compliant.

Role requires previous automotive glazing experience, a full UK driving licence and the ability to work autonomously, often on-site at depots or customer locations. The job includes an on-call rota and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience fitting automotive or commercial vehicle glass.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage a mobile workload.
• Good health and safety understanding.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Replace and repair windscreens, side windows, and other glazing components on PSV vehicles.
• Travel to customer sites, depots and breakdown locations to perform glazing work.
• Assess damage and decide repair or replacement solution.
• Measure, fit and secure glass with approved methods.
• Complete documentation and records promptly.
• Maintain stock of glass, consumables and tools in the mobile unit.
