Mobile Powered Access Engineer Required

Our client, an established provider of powered access and hire equipment across central England, is seeking an engineer to service, maintain, and perform LOLER examinations on powered access equipment. CAP qualification is desirable but not essential.

Position Overview

• Maintain, service, and examine powered access equipment
• This is a mobile role based out of the Bedford depot
• Perform onsite LOLER examinations and small repairs
• Cover primarily London and central England
• Support career development
• Keep service and maintenance records up to date
• Follow health and safety guidelines both in the workshop and on site
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance tasks

Position Requirements

• Experience in a similar role is beneficial
• Background in access, crane, forklift, or motor industries with mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical expertise
• CAP training or equivalent is a plus but not required
• IPAF CAP training is desirable but not essential
• UK driving license is mandatory
• Willingness to travel for the role

Remuneration

• Salary between £32,000 and £50,000 depending on experience
• Company vehicle provided
• Pension scheme included
