Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Mobile Plumbing Engineer to service a range of clients across commercial plumbing, heating, and drainage installations in Cumbria.

The role covers inspection, repairs and installation work, with emphasis on safety and high-quality workmanship. The successful candidate will carry out PPM and reactive repairs, maintain water systems, and support related building services activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management, commercial or building services environments.
• Strong fault-finding and repair skills in plumbing.
• Good understanding of water hygiene, health & safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across plumbing and water installations, safely and to a high standard.
• Maintain and repair hot and cold water systems, pipework, TMVs, calorifiers, pumps, sanitary ware and drainage; perform small installation works.
• Support wider building services activities across mechanical, electrical, HVAC and basic fabric tasks.
