Job summary

Veolia is hiring at the Farnham Road site in Alton, Hampshire for a 40-hour-per-week role involving front loading shovel, telehandler, and 360 excavator operation to transport waste. Overtime is available at time-and-a-half on weekdays and Saturdays, with double time on Sundays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a similar operational environment.
• Mobile plant licence - either a Loading Shovel, 360 Material Handler, Digger or Telehandler licence is required.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport due to the location of the site.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Front Loading Shovels, Telehandler and 360-degree Excavator to transport waste.
• Routine maintenance of mobile plant and equipment, including oils and water checks and reporting defects.
• Carry out quality checks on outgoing recycled material to ensure market quality standards.
• Ensure correct waste types are accepted and non-conforming wastes are reported and dealt with.
