Overview

Mobile Plant Operator – Stamford | 10 Days On / 4 Days Off | Competitive Salary + Overtime | Permanent | Immediate Start Available

Are you a reliable and trustworthy individual looking for a dynamic role with variety and growth opportunities? Join a leading company operating innovative mobile processing equipment across the UK. This role involves travel to multiple sites with overnight stays covered and a company vehicle provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mobile processing plant equipment across various locations.
• Work a 10 days on / 4 days off shift pattern (6am - 6pm).
• Occasional overnight stays with all expenses covered.
• Drive a company-provided van.
• Support Service Engineers on site and in the workshop.
• Train subcontractors and new employees after training completion.
• Follow risk assessments and method statements.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experienced in plant operations, familiar with mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Able to work independently, including at remote locations.
• Flexible to changing shifts including night shifts.
• Strong communicator with excellent customer focus.
• Motivated, organised, and proactive in problem-solving.
• Desirable: Process industry experience.
• Forklift and/or telehandler license.
• Willingness to work away from home for up to 8 days.

Working Hours & Pay

• Shift pattern: 10 days on / 4 days off.
• Overtime paid at 1.5x (Mon-Sat) and 2x (Sundays & Bank Holidays).
• Competitive salary starting at £25,500, rising to £31,000 after objectives achieved.
• OTE (on target earnings) of approximately £43,000 including overtime for 12-hour shifts.
