Mobile Plant Mechanic – £40,000 + Overtime + Company Vehicle – Field-Based Role
Are you an experienced Mobile Plant Mechanic? Join a leading company in the plant machinery sector, offering great benefits, a company vehicle, and overtime opportunities!

Benefits of the Mobile Plant Mechanic Role:

• Salary: £40,000 per year.
• Overtime: Time and a half for the first 4 hours and double time thereafter (daily).
• Work-life balance: 40-hour work week (08:00–16:30) with no excessive hours.
• Holidays: 22 days plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 day every 5 years of service. Holiday pay includes average overtime after probation.

Key Responsibilities of the Mobile Plant Mechanic:

As a Mobile Plant Mechanic, you will:

• Diagnose, service, and repair a variety of plant machinery, ensuring equipment operates at peak performance.
• Provide exceptional customer service by delivering on-site solutions and building strong client relationships.
• Work on hydraulic systems, transmissions, and electrical systems common in heavy plant machinery.
• Complete all service and repair documentation with precision.
• Take part in training programmes to enhance your skills as a Mobile Plant Mechanic.

About You:

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in construction, HGV, or agriculture heavy plant machinery servicing and maintenance.
• Experience: A strong background in hydraulic systems, transmissions, and plant or heavy machinery.
• Skills:
  • Excellent teamwork and the ability to work independently.
  • A proactive problem-solver with a logical approach to tasks.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing environments.
• Licence: A full UK driving licence is essential for a Mobile Plant Mechanic.
