Job summary

A leading company in waste management is seeking a Mobile Plant Maintenance Engineer in Runcorn. The role involves implementing maintenance schemes, monitoring machinery defects, and ensuring client satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have NVQ qualifications and experience with mobile plant mechanics, alongside welding expertise.

Grade: 4.3

Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Location: Runcorn with travel to other sites in the Midlands (Overnight stays may be required on occasion)

What you'll be doing;

  • Implement a planned maintenance scheme for all mobile/ fixed plants.
  • Monitor and report on all defect reports. Adhering to the required timescales.
  • Fabrication, welding and hardfacing
  • Conserving resources wherever possible to ensure budgetary integrity and client satisfaction.
  • Routine maintenance of heavy plant vehicles and machinery.

What we're looking for;

  • NVQ or relevant qualification in Mobile Plant Maintenance
  • Mobile plant mechanic or mobile plant fitter experience is essential
  • Previous welding experience
  • Experience gained in a similar environment / role
