Job description

We are currently seeking a Mobile Plant & HGV Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Commercial Vehicle business, based in the Heathrow area.

The successful Mobile Plant & HGV Technician can expect a salary of up to £42,000 with OTE of circa £45,000 with working hours of Monday To Friday (40 hours per week).

Our Client is looking for a Mobile Plant & HGV Technician to join their busy team; this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

Typical Duties for our client include, but are not limited to:

- Servicing, and mobile repairing of the Maintenance of HGVs & Plant Machinery.
- Conducting PDI works and attachment set-up on Plant Machinery.
- Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
- Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
- Completion of MOT preparation
- Ensuring the inventory of the service vehicle is clean, avoiding oil spills and dust.

Requirements:

- Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Previous working experience within the Commercial Vehicle or Car Technician position.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge
- A Class 1 Licence may be beneficial to your application
- Efficient logistical methods, such as prioritising certain jobs, and astute time keeping.
