Job summary

Plantexpand-Ltd in Gloucester is seeking an engineer to service, repair and maintain plant on customer sites, using a fully stocked van and tablet for reporting. You will work on pumps, generators, excavators and other site plant, with a mix of planned maintenance and repairs.

You'll be paid £38,000–£41,000 per year, with overtime, on-call pay, a company van and fuel card, pension and events; additional quarterly bonuses apply.

Qualifications

Hands-on maintenance experience on pumps, generators, excavators or small plant.
Own hand tools; diagnostics equipment provided by us.
Full UK driving licence.
Willing to work on site, on your own when required.

Responsibilities

Service, repair and maintain plant on customer sites in and around Gloucester.
Find the fault and fix it first time.
Carry out PUWER inspections, pre-delivery inspections, safety checks and report LOLER defects.
Carry out LOLER thorough examinations on forklifts, telehandlers and excavators once you're qualified.
Log every job on a tablet with photos, hours and parts used, close the job and liaise with service controllers.
