Job description

Mobile Plant Fitter
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: GBP15.00 - GBP18.00 per hour (PAYE)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm

We are currently seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join the team in Doncaster. In this role, you will be responsible for the service and repair of a wide range of mobile plant equipment, including loading shovels, 360 grabs, FLTs, telehandlers, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, maintain, and repair various types of mobile plant equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults, including hydraulic leaks, faulty rams, and axles.
• Use diagnostic software to identify issues and conduct repairs.
• Perform welding and other necessary repairs to plant machinery.
• Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience working on a variety of mobile plant equipment, including loading shovels, FLTs, telehandlers, and 360 grabs.
• Competent in using diagnostic software to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on mobile plant.
• Welding and fabrication skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
