Mobile Plant Fitter / Diesel Fitter

NEOS Engineering are currently working with one of the UK’s largest plant companies who are looking for a Plant Fitter. They specialize in mid to heavy plant all across the South. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Plant Fitter who has experience working on construction machinery but wants more overtime and responsibility.
The ideal Plant Fitter is a candidate who has 5 years experience carrying out service, maintenance, and repair of all types of construction plant machinery. The candidate will be confident working alone and be able to think on their feet!
The day-to-day role of the Mobile Plant Fitter involves travelling across the South of England for your employer, attending to machines that are out on hire. The role can vary from routine services to breakdowns, and your responsibility is to get the customer’s machine back up and running as quickly as possible!

The Role:
- Service, maintenance, and repair of heavy plant and powered access machinery at customer sites.
- Covering South England.
- Mechanical and electrical repairs including diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and diagnostics.
The Candidate:
- Experience working on construction plant.
- Eager to receive overtime and progression.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Construction or Agricultural Plant Maintenance.
- Full driving license.
