Job Title: Field Service Engineer (Plant & Agricultural Equipment)

Salary/Bonuses: £16–£20 per hour (Dependent on Experience)

Neos Engineering are partnered with a well-established and highly regarded service provider in the plant and agricultural machinery sector. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to expand their engineering team with the addition of a Field Service Engineer to support customers across the South West.

The Role
This is a field-based role offering a varied day-to-day workload and real autonomy.

Servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a range of plant and agricultural equipment both on-site and at the depot

Conducting pre-delivery inspections and fault finding

Completing service reports and maintaining accurate job documentation

Participating in a weekend rota (2 out of 3 Saturdays – half day)

Driving to client sites using a company van (provided for local engineers)

You’ll be working Monday to Friday, 7:00am–5:30pm, with rotational Saturday mornings. The average working week is approx. 50 hours (excluding Saturdays), and you’ll be paid a consistent flat hourly rate across all hours worked.

The Candidate
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

Proven experience servicing and repairing plant or agricultural equipment (essential)

A full UK driving licence

A self-motivated and reliable work ethic with the ability to diagnose and fix issues independently

Flexibility to travel within the designated region and adapt to varying workloads

Desirable (but not essential):

Mechanical or electrical qualifications

Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, or diesel systems
