Job Role: Mobile Plant Fitter

Location: Bournemouth, Dorset (accepting applications from surrounding counties)

Salary: GBP33,(Apply online only)-GBP37,(Apply online only) (GBP16-GBP18 per hour) DOE

Hours: Monday-Friday day shift 40 hours per week

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

The Duties:

• Travel to client sites to perform maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert recommendations.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Offer training and support to clients' staff on machinery operation and maintenance best practices.
• Keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting.
• Communicate effectively with the in-house engineering team to provide feedback and improve product performance.

The Requirements:

• Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
• Previous experience working as a mechanical/electrical engineer within the plant and/or automotive industries (essential)
• Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering minimum level 2 (essential)
• Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience (advantageous)
• Experience working with engines and batteries (advantageous)
• Full UK Drivers License
