Job summary

Path Recruitment is seeking a Mobile Plant Engineer on a brand new opportunity offering strong hourly rates, a company van, paid overtime and long-term stability. Location: Midlands covering door-to-door travel to Coventry, Birmingham, Nuneaton and surrounding areas.

The role involves breakdown repair, LOLER and PUWER inspections, paperwork accuracy, and ensuring all equipment is safe, compliant and ready to use.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Plant Engineering or equivalent
• At least three years’ industry experience
• Experience on dozers, dumpers, excavators, ADTs up to 30 tonnes
• Experience on plant machinery such as CAT, Volvo, Bomag and Komatsu
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Confident using computer-based systems and Microsoft Office
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Attend site breakdowns carrying out service, maintenance and repairs of plant machinery and attachments
• Carrying out LOLER and PUWER inspections
• Paid to door to door covering the midlands, areas include Coventry, Birmingham, Nuneaton and surrounding areas
• Completing paperwork accurately and on time
• Ensuring all equipment worked on is left in a safe, compliant and ready to use state

Responsibilities as the Mobile Plant Engineer:

• Attending site breakdowns carrying out service, maintenance and repairs of plant machinery and attachments
