Job summary

Securitas is seeking a Mobile Patrol Officer in Milton Keynes. You will protect people, property and assets across multiple sites, performing mobile patrols, alarm responses and property inspections while delivering strong customer service.

You’ll work 42 hours per week on 12-hour shifts (4 on, 4 off nights) with a focus on reliability and proactive security. Join a supportive team with learning opportunities and wide benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA licence.
• Must hold a valid manual driving licence.
• UK right to work with a 5-year history check.
• Strong English communication, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mobile security services across sites: locks/unlocks, patrols, alarm responses, vacant property inspections and escorts.
• Complete vehicle handovers and checks at shift start/end.
• Follow site instructions and conduct dynamic risk assessments on arrival.
• Escalate incidents and RTAs per policy; manage keys securely.
• Ensure dashcams and equipment are functioning throughout shifts.

No two days are the same, as you'll carry out a variety of security duties including mobile patrols, alarm responses, lock and unlock services, vacant property inspections and escort activities, while delivering exceptional customer service at every interaction

Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Deliver a range of mobile security services including locks, unlocks, internal and external patrols, alarm responses, vacant property inspections and escort services
• Complete vehicle handovers and checks at the beginning and end of each shift ensuring the security of the company vehicle and equipment
• Follow site assignment instructions and conduct dynamic risk assessments upon arrival at client sites
• Follow proper escalation processes for incidents, break-ins, health and safety issues and road traffic accidents
• Escalate incidents, risks, breakdown and RTAs to the team leader, reporting RTAs in line with company policy
• Adhere to correct key management processes when handling keys
• Secure company assets, including PDAs, and ensure dashcams are fully functional and used throughout the shift

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• A valid SIA licence
• A valid manual driving licence
• Security experience is desirable but not essential
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
• Punctual and reliable
