Job summary

Specsavers is recruiting a domiciliary optometrist to cover homes across Scotland, including Edinburgh and Galashiels. You will drive to patients’ homes, deliver eye examinations, provide care, and support customers who can’t visit stores.

The role offers a competitive basic salary around £70,000 FTE, a car allowance of £5,000, a welcome bonus of £10,000 (pro rata for part-time), plus pension, generous leave and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the General Optical Council.
• Full driving licence required.
• Confident, customer‑focussed and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide domiciliary eye care at patients' homes.
• Travel to multiple locations delivering eye care and basic tasks.
• Support patients to maintain eye health and access services.
