Job summary

Specsavers is seeking a domiciliary optometrist to bring eye care directly to patients in their homes across a defined Wales territory. You will perform comprehensive eye assessments, advise on vision correction, and support patients in daily tasks where needed.

The role requires GOC registration and a full driving licence. A company car or car allowance is provided, with flexible full-time or part-time options and generous leave entitlements.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
• Full driving license required.
• Confident and passionate about customer service; able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide domiciliary eye care visiting patients in their homes.
• Deliver high-quality clinical eye care and basic tasks to support independence.
• Work within a defined territory in South West Wales and Gwent Home Visits network.
• Utilise company car or allowance to visit patients' homes.
