Job summary

Specsavers is seeking a domiciliary optometrist to deliver eye care in patients' homes across multiple areas in the Northwest. You will assess eyes, provide care, and support local communities with accessible services.

The role is part‑time with a strong emphasis on field work. A full driving license and GOC registration are essential, along with a patient‑centred approach and collaboration with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
• Full UK driving license and willingness to drive to patients’ homes.
• Confident, customer‑focused and able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide domiciliary eye care in patients' homes across defined territories.
• Perform eye examinations and basic care, referring when needed.
• Work both independently and as part of a supportive Specsavers team.
