Job summary

Boots Opticians is seeking an Optometrist to lead clinics and deliver exceptional patient care using the latest tech, while mentoring colleagues and supporting community health.

You’ll work with a collaborative team, develop enhanced services, and contribute to the store’s leadership and patient-care priorities, with a clear path for professional growth and franchise-style opportunities.

Qualifications

• GOC registered or expecting to be within 6 months.
• NHS performer number or working towards it.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Optometrist at Boots, you’ll play a key role in delivering brilliant patient care – using the latest tech, working alongside experienced colleagues, and supporting your community with clinical excellence. Whether you're leading a clinic, responding to triage, or mentoring others, no two days are the same, and your growth never stops.

What You’ll Need To Have (our Must-haves)

• We’re looking for Optometrists who are confident, compassionate, and always focused on doing the right thing for patients.


• GOC registered (or expecting to be within 6 months)


• NHS performer number (or working towards it)


• Excellent communication and organisation skills


• A genuine interest in patient care and team collaboration
