Job summary

Specsavers seeks an Home Visits Optical Assistant to deliver high-quality eye-care services in patients' homes across Inverness and surroundings. You’ll drive to appointments, ensure compassionate, professional customer care, and support families in the delivery of accessible eye care.

Full training will be provided, with an emphasis on safety and quality. This field-based role requires a full UK driving licence, DBS clearance, and a willingness to travel to care settings as needed.

Qualifications

• Current or recent optical experience.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Enhanced DBS check before start.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality optical services to patients in their homes.
• Travel to patients' homes and care homes as required.
• Provide friendly, professional customer care and support.
• Coordinate with the Specsavers team to arrange care.
