Job summary

OH Medical in Doncaster is seeking a Peripatetic Occupational Health Technician to deliver health surveillance and wellbeing services on-site at client locations. The role combines travel, independent work and hands-on health checks across multiple sites with regional and occasional nationwide travel.

Based around Doncaster with opportunities to work around Sheffield, Rotherham or Worksop, you will drive an MMU and provide essential baseline measurements while supporting OH Nurses and

Qualifications

• Experience in health surveillance measurements such as audiometry and spirometry.
• Full UK manual driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Aged 21+ for vehicle insurance purposes.
• Willingness to travel regionally and stay away from home.
• Experience recording health data in confidential records.
• Understanding of GDPR and confidential medical records.
• Able to work independently and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health surveillance, including audiometry and spirometry.
• Record baseline health screening data (BP, height, weight, urinalysis).
• Support Occupational Health Nurses and Physicians.
• Drive and operate a Mobile Medical Unit.
• Travel regularly and stay away from home during the week.
• Ensure equipment is clean, serviceable and fit for purpose.
• Promote workplace wellbeing activities.
