Job summary

EQUANS is seeking a Mobile Technical Operative (Multiskilled) to cover Reading Crown Court with occasional duties in Slough, Oxford and Staines. The role is permanent and full-time (40 hours per week) offering a competitive salary and benefits.

You will perform planned and reactive fabric and electrical maintenance, ensure safe working practices, manage CAFM tasks, and supervise subcontractors as required. A clean UK driving licence and 18th Edition are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or City & Guilds equivalent.
• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical and fabric maintenance.
• Ensure safe working practices and use of method statements and risk assessments.
• Manage CAFM tasks and close tickets with accurate data.
• Supervise subcontractors on site and liaise with client representatives.
• Plan electrical shutdowns and develop switching schedules.
