Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is recruiting a Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer with a mechanical bias to join a shift team in London. The role covers planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across broad building services and equipment, ensuring uptime and compliance with safety standards.

You will diagnose faults, track performance, and work within a supportive team to meet client SLAs. A strong mechanical apprenticeship and relevant post‑apprenticeship experience are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical maintenance across building services including HVAC, AHUs, FCUs, pumps and heating systems.
• Proven ability to carry out planned and reactive maintenance in commercial or critical environments.
• Strong fault diagnosis skills and ability to identify root causes and perform corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance across building services plant and equipment.
• Diagnose faults, identify root causes, and complete corrective works safely.
• Monitor, record, and report plant performance and maintenance activities using CAFM system.
• Work within a shift team to meet client SLAs and KPIs while maintaining high professional standards.
• Ensure compliance with policies, health & safety requirements, and safe systems of work.
