Job summary

HVAC Recruitment is seeking a Multi-Skilled Joiner / Fabric Engineer to work across Nottingham and surrounding areas. The role focuses on joinery, kitchen and bathroom fitting, and general building fabric repairs in schools and residential care environments.

You will work on planned refurbishment projects and reactive maintenance, often turning your hand to other trades when needed. The successful candidate will have strong carpentry/joinery experience, a trade qualification or time-served

Qualifications

• Strong joinery/carpentry experience.
• Experience fitting kitchens and bathrooms.
• Trade qualification or time-served experience.
• Additional plumbing, plastering or general maintenance experience beneficial.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS.
• Good customer-facing skills and a professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Joinery and general building fabric repairs.
• Kitchen and bathroom fitting/refurbishment.
• Doors, frames, skirting, flooring and associated fixtures.
• Planned improvement and refurbishment works.
• Reactive building maintenance.
• Basic plumbing and patch plastering.
• Identifying and collecting materials required for jobs.
• Working independently across multiple sites.
• Updating completed works using a company-provided tablet.
