Job Title: Mobile HVAC Engineer
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Mobile HVAC Multi Skilled Engineer for our team located in East London.
The successful candidate will perform Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance on Plant, Equipment, and Building Services.
Role Summary:
- Identify and manage risks to the client through equipment on site, including critical spares, performance improvement, environment management via BMS, and efficient operation of plant and equipment, along with preventative maintenance programs.
- Utilize new equipment and technologies to maintain a comfortable environment, liaising with the client on reactive and PPM tasks.
- Fault find on HVAC plant and equipment, especially Variable Refrigerant Volume air conditioning systems, with necessary F-Gas handling qualifications.
- Support health and safety initiatives within the team.
- Act as Energy Champion and assist as Safety Champion for the site.
- Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to the maintenance team.
- Write and follow Risk Assessments, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Complete documentation per rules and legislation.
- Use mobile devices for work management via CAFM system.
- Plan daily work using email and calendars for efficiency.
- Coordinate with onsite supervisors and account managers on building services issues.
- Deputize for the site supervisor during leave or sickness when required.
- Work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends.
- Perform ad hoc duties as required.
- Supervise and manage subcontractors.
- Participate in an on-call rota for emergencies outside normal hours.
Experience Required:
- Recognized or Time Served Apprenticeship
- Proven experience in HVAC maintenance
- Mechanical qualifications to City and Guilds standards
- Multi-skilled abilities
- Fault-finding skills
- Contractor supervision
- Risk assessments and method statements
- Understanding and writing of permits and safe systems of work
- F-Gas refrigerant handling qualifications
Desirable Qualifications:
- Working at Height Qualification
- IPAF / PASMA
- AP Qualifications
- BMS system experience
- HVAC Controls experience
