Job description

Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer

Location: Birmingham

Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 40 hours

Salary: £30,000 to £36,000 (depending on experience)

Type: Temp - Permanent

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer working on a prestigious contract based within Birmingham, handling all maintenance issues on commercial plant equipment within commercial environments.

Duties as the Multi Skilled Engineer will include:

  1. Carry out PPM and extra work requirements in adherence to set engineering standards.
  2. Check and inspection of electrical/mechanical building plant equipment (chillers, AHU, HVAC, FCU, cooling towers, boilers, etc.).
  3. Respond to reactive works.

Desirable Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of Electrical/Mechanical City & Guilds, Part 1 and 2 or ‘A’ and ‘B’ or equivalent; BMS experience and multi-skilling capability within building services is desirable.
  2. Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in relevant engineering maintenance field (or equivalent other qualification recognized by CITB/EITB/JIB).
  3. Certified in 17th/18th edition.

Due to the nature of the contract requirements, candidates may be required to go through a high level of security clearance, and the offer of employment is dependent upon your clearance.
