Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in Durham is seeking an Electrical Engineer to deliver maintenance and safety checks across client sites.

You will perform PAT testing, reactive repairs and planned maintenance while ensuring health and safety compliance and accurate record keeping. 40 hours per week with SLA-driven service standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrical professional with safety and compliance focus.
• Experience in facilities or mobile maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of wiring regulations and electrical safety protocols.

Role Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical safety checks, PAT testing, and reactive repairs
• Deliver planned maintenance across client sites
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and statutory building regulations
• Maintain accurate records using IT systems

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified to Level 2/3 City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Experience in facilities or mobile maintenance (construction sector preferred)
