Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider - Commercial Buildings – London – Up to £45,000 + Package

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to carry out planned and reactive commercial maintenance on a commercial contract across London.

The successful candidate will have an understanding of facilities maintenance and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This position would be ideal for a Mechanical Mobile Engineer currently in a similar position. The company offers a salary of up to £45,000 with potential career progression.

Package & working hours

• A basic salary of up to £45,000
• Monday - Friday, 08:00-17:00

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor mechanical plant such as pumps, motors, seals, bearings
• Maintain air conditioning units, including filters and cleaning
• Water treatment, including temperature checks
• Plumbing tasks like unblocking toilets and replacing taps and washers
• Monitor BMS systems
• Perform basic electrical duties, e.g., lamp changes
• Maintain general building fabric
• Escort specialist subcontractors
• Maintain and update log books
• Undertake tasks professionally and promptly
• Identify and report faults proactively
• Ensure H&S compliance
• Communicate with client staff regarding service levels and issues
• Report service issues to site management
• Comply with health, safety, and legislative requirements

Requirements

• Mechanically qualified at Level 2 (C&G, NVQ, etc.)
• Proven experience in commercial building maintenance
• Multi-skilled
• Good communication skills
• Client-facing experience
• Experience as a Building Services Engineer
• Ability to work independently to high standards
