UKSE Group is hiring a Mechanical Fitter to operate across multiple wastewater sites in Barnsley and surrounding areas. The role is mobile, requiring travel between depots with a provided van and fuel card. Accommodation is arranged when working away from home, and a CSCS card plus safety certifications are essential.

The position starts 28/09 and runs until the end of the year, offering 22–23 GBP per hour with standard time-and-a-quarter pay for overtime and door-to-door travel compensation.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card is required.
• Confined Space Certificate is required; training can be provided.
• Safety Critical Medical is required; training can be provided.
• Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Removing old water treatment equipment and installing new kit on wastewater treatment sites.
• Mobile role covering various sites with a van and a fuel card provided.
• Accommodation will be booked when working away from home.
