Job DescriptionMobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Van or Foot)– FM Service Provider - Commercial Buildings – City of London – Up to £45,000 + Package

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to carry out planned and reactive commercial maintenance on a commercial contract across City of Londonnear the M25.

The successful candidate will have an understanding of facilities maintenance and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This position would be ideal for a Mechanical Mobile Engineer currently in a similar position. In return, the company are offering a salary of up to £45,000 with a potential route into further career progression.

Package & working hours


  • A basic salary of up to £45,000

  • Monday- Friday 08:00-17:00

  • Tons of Overtime

Key Duties & Responsibilities


  • Monitor mechanical plant

  • Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings

  • Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (Filter changes, cleaning)

  • Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)

  • Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc

  • Monitor the BMS systems.

  • Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)

  • General building fabric

  • Escort specialist subcontractors

  • Maintain and update Log books

  • Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.

  • Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.

  • Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.

  • Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.

  • Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.

  • Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.


Requirements


  • Mechanically qualified level 2 (C&G, NVQ etc)

  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance

  • Multi-skilled

  • Good communication skills

  • Previous experience of performing a Building Services Engineer role

  • Must be able to work unsupervised to a high quality
