Job Title: Mobile Mechanical Engineer

Salary: £28,500 - £41,700

Are you an experienced mechanical maintenance engineer within the facilities sector? Seeking a new challenge in 2024? My client is an established FM company looking for a qualified and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a team on a mobile site near Oxford.

This role offers opportunities for progression and training. It is a mobile position working Monday to Friday. Benefits include:

Main duties will include:

  1. Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete the appropriate paperwork and reports.
  2. Perform reactive and emergency breakdown tasks, ensuring proper documentation.
  3. Participate in a call-out rota for out-of-hours client support.
  4. Supervise visiting subcontractors regarding work standards and health and safety.
  5. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  6. Accurately complete all work-related documentation on time.
  7. Follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
  8. Conduct daily PPM and reactive maintenance tasks, including UPS systems, plumbing, drainage, boiler checks, cooling towers, fan coil units, AHUs, fans, and heating pumps.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • City & Guilds / NVQ Mechanical Qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience in a commercial environment and good building services knowledge
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Eligibility to pass a DBS check
