Are you a Mobile Mechanical Engineer looking for a new challenge?

An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based across London has arisen.

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to be based in the London/Kent area, carrying out planned and reactive commercial building maintenance across a commercial portfolio. The successful candidate will have experience in servicing, repairing, and installing heating systems and plumbing works at various commercial properties.

This position is ideal for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer seeking progression. The company offers a competitive salary up to £45,000 and potential career advancement opportunities.

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor mechanical plant
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers
• BMS System - Monitor (hot & cold)
• Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
• Maintain and update Logbooks
• Perform Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance
• Change taps/washers
• Install and replace hot water cylinders, pipework, boilers, and check repairs and servicing of M&E equipment, PPM & reactive tasks
• Manage priorities within contract constraints
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team
• Participate in standby rota for emergency calls outside normal hours
• Assist in pricing M&E works for minor projects and maintenance

Package Details & Hours of Work

• Salary of £45,000
• 40 hours per week
• Overtime available
• Call out duties

Requirements

• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent
• Experience with central heating, water heaters, pipework, unvented hot water, HVAC systems
• Electrical knowledge
• Full clean driving license
