Job Title: Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management.
We are currently recruiting a Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support our client portfolio across a designated region.
This is a field-based role requiring self-motivation, mechanical expertise, and a proactive approach to maintaining and repairing HVAC and mechanical systems across multiple commercial properties.

Role Summary:
• Respond promptly to reactive mechanical maintenance requests in line with agreed SLAs
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults across systems such as HVAC, pumps, fans, valves, pipework, and associated plant equipment
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) routines in accordance with compliance and operational guidelines
• Support minor mechanical installation works and system upgrades
• Conduct regular inspections and functional tests on key mechanical assets
• Complete and maintain accurate records of all work, including risk assessments and method statements
• Liaise effectively with on-site contacts and the Technical Services Manager to resolve issues swiftly
• Participate in the on-call rota for emergency mechanical support and out-of-hours response
• Ensure all activities are delivered in line with health and safety policies and procedures
• Monitor the condition and performance of mechanical plant and building services equipment
• Use handheld devices and internal systems to record maintenance activity, generate quotes, and update job statuses

Experience Required:
Essential:
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Plumbing, or equivalent
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Proven experience delivering mechanical maintenance services in commercial or industrial environments
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, pumps, motors, and associated building services
• Ability to work autonomously, managing time and tasks across multiple client sites
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple sites.
