The AA is seeking an AA Mobile Mechanic Plus to service, diagnose and repair vehicles at customers’ homes or workplaces, supported by tools and technology. The role offers a five-day week with shifts, including Saturdays, and requires a valid UK driving licence and previous mobile or workshop experience.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent with strong servicing experience.
• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent with strong diagnostics and servicing experience.
• Full UK Category B driving licence with no more than six points.
• Experience as a mechanic in workshop, dealership or mobile environment.
• Flexibility to work the advertised rota, including Saturdays.

• Carry out vehicle servicing and repairs at customers’ homes or workplaces.
• Diagnose faults where appropriate.
• Use technical knowledge to identify problems and find solutions.
